MotionPlus, Kirby etc.

I visited a new gaming store in the nearby town of Kouvola a few weeks ago. Besides the usual PS3, X360 and Wii games, they also had some retro games for sale as well. I were very surprised when I saw a sealed copy of Game Boy Color's Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble for 8 euros. I decided to pick it up and leave it sealed for now. It's the first sealed game of my collection. Ghoul Panic was 2,90 euros so I bought it as well.

Gameboy stuff

The leaves are starting to turn yellow, red and purple here in Southern Finland which means that the summer is over. It's time to start collecting some nice games for those rainy and dark autumn evenings.

First we have some Gameboy stuff. The console's box is in very nice condition and the same goes for most of the game boxes as well. I can't believe how dark the GBC's screen is compared to DS Lite. You really can't see anything without extra bright spotlights.

Hit the jump for more games.

Sega Mega Drive manuals

Missing game manuals. A thing that keeps every game collector awake at night. Why it's so hard to put the manual back in the box after you are done reading it? I remember reading from a gaming forum about parents who bought their kids a brand new NES game. After opening the game they threw the box and the manual in the trashcan. I wonder if they still do it with PS3 or Wii games...

New games don't get much cheaper than this!

Race Driver: Create & Race

Race Driver: Create & Race is fairly well received racing game for Nintendo DS. The game has lots of nice features: 32 real-world circuits, 25 officially licensed cars, a track editor for making your own tracks, Wi-Fi connection for online racing... On top of all this, it has very nice 3D graphics and good controls. Overall, a good, solid racing game for the DS.

By now, you already know I'm going to say that I bought it from summer sales. Correct. But how much did it cost?
